Your duties

You will be part of an agile team to define, implement and maintain the SW build and test environment for SmarTest, the V93000 IC Test system software. This team owns the highly automated continuous integration framework for SW developers worldwide and is part of the worldwide SW R&D organization.

  • Provide state-of-the-art development environment for SW R&D teams. The focus is on optimizing the build system, providing test frameworks for C++ SW developers and migrating towards modern alternative libraries.
  • Close cooperation with SW engineers and good understanding of the requirements from SW R&D.
  • Continuously improve and provide reliable tools
  • Work in an agile team
  • Coach and train the SW R&D members on such tools

Your profile

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering or comparable qualification from a University / Technical University / University of Applied Sciences
  • Good experience with Linux, Git
  • Good knowledge and experience in object-oriented design programming and automated testing
  • Experience with Testdriven development, pair programming, Good knowledge in C++17, C++20, Build systems like Bazel, CMake, Test frameworks like CxxTest, doctest, Catch2
  • Some experience in scripting languages like python 3, Ruby, bash and agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Be able to work closely with SW development teams to understand their requirements and needs
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player and x-functional networker, Self-awareness and emotional intelligence, Result orientation & focus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in working in world-wide teams
  • Semiconductor test and V93000 system knowledge
  • Good know-how of modern development platforms, tools and practices (e.g. Git, Jira, Pair Programming, Test Driven Development)
  • Fluent in German
