As a Spare Parts Planner & Supply Chain Analyst, you ensure our global Field Service organization has the right spare parts available to keep customer systems running. You combine operational planning ownership with strong analytics and reporting, enabling fact-based decisions in a fast-paced international supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
1) Material Planning & Availability Management
- Own replenishment planning for global warehouse networks and ensure stable stock levels.
- Monitor material availability, identify shortages early, and coordinate urgent allocations/escalations with stakeholders.
- Track shipments, validate ETAs, and ensure timely delivery to support service requirements.
- Coordinate internal distribution and manage cross-site priorities to protect service level / Hit Rate.
2) Forecasting & Supply Chain Analytics
- Build and maintain monthly spare parts forecasts using Installed Base (IB), ACI, demand, scrap, and relationship logic.
- Perform deep data validation and correct inconsistencies across systems.
- Provide analyses that drive decisions on critical items, stocking levels, and cost verification.
3) Reporting & Power BI Dashboard Development (Core Focus)
- Create and maintain dashboards and recurring management reporting (e.g., Demand vs Supply, Budget vs Spending, IR, Critical Items, Hit Rate).
- Strengthen visualization quality, support automated refresh cycles, and ensure data integrity end-to-end.
- Deliver monthly analyses with clear recommendations and strong storyline for leadership visibility (e.g., MOR inputs).
- Typical dashboard/topic coverage includes (examples from existing reporting landscape): Supplier Delivery Performance, Repair–Spare Cost Ratio, Budget & Spending, Hit Rate, Field Stocking Situation, Critical Spares.
4) Process & System Improvement / NPI Support
- Support NPI/item setup processes including data checks and case handling using workflow tools (e.g., Jira-based processes).
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in reporting and planning tools; reduce manual corrections and improve process reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Logistic, Call center, Productions, ...) to ensure smooth end-to-end execution.
