SiConic Center of Expertise (COE) Engineer (m/f/d)

• Prepare and run compelling demo presentations of our products to provide customers with hands-on experience and collect feedback & align demands
• Arrange loaner setups & install initial configurations to validate the usability with the customer
• Conduct training to propagate knowledge to AEs, field support teams and customers and resolve technical issues in close cooperation with Advantest R&D
• Support pre-sales by convincing presentations, demonstrations and supporting the product roll-out during the NSI campaigns
• As needed, you partner with EDA companies on implementing an automated flow or integrating a new tool in the product ecosystem
• Align concepts & future demands with customers' R&D and ATE teams evaluating the match with our product features & strategies and drive integration

Education:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering / science
• alternatively: Solid experience working professionally for EDA companies and/or designing complex chip architectures and bring-up in HVM of these designs ideally in the field of high-performance compute devices or complex SOC designs

Professional experience:

• Solid experience in designing complex chip designs and bring-up of devices to reach production (HVM) maturity or root causing design flaws on field returns (RMA)
  and/or
• Solid professional working experience working within EDA companies around toolware to design and validate multi-IP chip solutions (HPC or SOC designs)
  and/or
• Solid understanding of Advantest V93k and SMT8 test program creation / use
• Working experience with programming languages i.e., C++ or Java along with scripting languages i.e., Phyton or Java Script in a Linux based environment
• Working experience in global teams with very good English language skills and a self-managed & autonomous working routine
• Having a customer oriented mindset & presentation skills to relay technical information to audience & trainees
• Expertise in FPGA / firmware / bare metal programming is a big plus
• Expertise of Portable Stimulus Standard (PSS) is a big plus
  
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
• You are familiar with the challenges of nowadays & future chip designs in the realm of R&D, HVM and RMA
• Experience with Linux operating systems, especially RedHat & Ubuntu
• Good English language & Communication / Presentation skills
• Excellent global teamwork skills
• Can do attitude, proactive, self-disciplined, and structured working style
• Customer focused and a comprehensive understanding of customer needs & requirements
• Willing to travel regularly within EU, and to US and Asia on an “as needed” basis
• Experience in design validation teams or with EDA are beneficial
