Software Test Manager (m/f/d)

• Define and continuously improve the overall test plan and test strategy in close cooperation with other stakeholders within the V93 R&D organization
• Plan the specific test activities based on new features and known bugs to achieve an optimal balance between test coverage and test execution time
• Coach and drive our test engineers in the different scrum teams to define, implement and run necessary test activities
• Align and drive our world-wide testing activities with several involved teams
• Drive activities for improving software quality and reducing feedback cycles
• Continuously enhance & adapt data collection and reporting to improve transparency of test execution on all layers to provide status information on quality level
• Analyze currently used tools and standardize testing and quality processes to ensure a common approach in all teams
• Become a recognized test expert in R&D who is actively asked for help in any aspect of SW testing
• Contribute to the agile testing community to get new ideas but also to share our best practices and ensure continuous improvement within the test area
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure strong alignment of Quality assurance strategy and test strategy including streamlined QA reports and test reports

• Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or similar
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in software development and testing
• Experience as Test Manager for large software projects, including best practices and tools in the different test levels (e.g. module, integration, system test)
• Experience with BI, dashboarding and data visualization solutions (ELK, Grafana, Power BI, …)
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g. automotive, medical, aerospace)
• Passion for Agile, Quality and Transparency
• Project Management Skills
• Very good communication skills in English
• Intercultural understanding and communication capabilities, experience in working with teams abroad

Preferred Qualification:

• Having led an agile team as product owner, scrum master or project manager
• Experience with indirect people management
• Experience working in agile environments using Scrum, SAFe, etc.
• German or Chinese Language skills
