Software Developer – Build and Test Automation (m/f/d)

This team owns the highly automated continuous integration framework for SW developers worldwide and is part of the worldwide SW R&D organization.

Main tasks: 

• Provide state-of-the-art development environment for SW R&D teams. The focus is on optimizing the build system, providing test frameworks for C++ SW developers and migrating towards modern alternative libraries.  
• Close cooperation with SW engineers and good understanding of the requirements from SW R&D.
• Continuously improve and provide reliable tools
• Work in an agile team
• Coach and train the SW R&D members on such tools

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering or comparable qualification from a University / Technical University / University of Applied Sciences
• Good experience with Linux, git
• Good knowledge and experience in object-oriented design programming and automated testing
• Experience with
  • Testdriven development, pair programming
  • Good knowledge in C++17, C++20
  • Build systems like Bazel, CMake
  • Test frameworks like CxxTest, doctest, Catch2
  • Some experience in scripting languages like python 3, Ruby, bash
  • Agile Entwicklungsprozesse (SCRUM, KANBAN)
• Be able to work closely with SW development teams to understand their requirements and needs
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working in world-wide teams
• Semiconductor test and V93000 system knowledge
