Senior R&D Engineer Software & Hardware (m/f/d)

Join our team! We are part of the global Advantest V93000 Research & Development team, providing solutions for auto-calibration, self-test and performance verification for customers and for our manufacturing sites.

Working in in a cross-functional team you are responsible to

• standardize and automate manufacturing and test processes at our contract manufacturers in close cooperation with our Operations team
• coordinate ramp and stabilization activities of new products.
• support turn-on and stabilization of HW prototypes up to series production in cooperation with the respective project team
• ensure leverage and consistent use models within the maintenance tools across different products.
• design, implement and debug the functionality in our C++ environment

Essential:

• degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
• profound understanding of electrotechnical fundamentals and measurement techniques
• team player with strong communication skills
• self-initiated, well-structured approach in a complex environment
• good knowledge of C++ programming and object-oriented concepts
• professional English in writing and speaking
• 5 years of experience with 93k ATE / maintenance subsystem

Preferred:

• experience in customer / contract manufacturer communication
• good networking skills and existing network within 93k organization
• good knowledge of German language
