As an FPGA DevOps engineer, you will be part of a global team and support the development and delivery
of highly complex FPGA designs for Advantest’s IC-testers. You will design the transition to a fully integrated and unified CI (continuous integration) FPGA workflow for our platform. This includes maintenance of tools, investigation and introduction of new technologies and tools, support the team as well as the setup of new and maintenance of existing projects. Besides these DevOps activities, you will be involved in the design of digital integrated modules and subsystems from concept to finished device to experience the workflow from a developer’s perspective. You deliver against agreed upon schedules. Communication within the team and with other functions, IT, SW, Quality department and system design is required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Design of innovative FPGA-Development workflow including build, delivery, simulation, verification and validation
- Working with Vendors’ tool chains and environment
- Working with CI tools and automation approaches
- Implementation and integration of digital modules in VHDL and Verilog
- Verification on Module-, Device- and System level
- Physical design, floorplanning, IO planning, FPGA builds
- Documentation of implemented functionality
- Deliver against agreed upon schedules and requirements
- Support of the global FPGA Development team
- Collaboration with other functions
